This piece is not only the tallest single piece tombstone we have, it is such a great sculpture that it has been imitated by many others.  However, it has not duplicated in quality, size or detail.  This piece features a tall tombstones that reads "Cornelius Vanatter 1835-1889".  The grim reaper embraces the stone with a single rose for the decedent.  The reaper's draping robe flows around and in front of the headstone.
